SOLITUDE
(A.A. Milne)

I have a house where I go
When there's too many people,
I have a house where I go
Where no one can be;
I have a house where I go,
Where nobody ever says "No"
Where no one says anything-- so
There is no one but me.

I am sick and tired of people wishing on shooting stars. Anyone who does this is a lover of violence and a war monger. Why don't we start wishing on peaceful, stagnant, unmovable stars? Are the stars that make up the night sky every night not good enough? I guess helping sailors navigate and find their way home to loved ones is not meritous enough to have someone wish on you.

So tonight just do me a favor. Look into the sky and make a wish on a lame and slightly dim star. One that you are pretty sure no one has ever wished on (so the middle star of Orion's Belt is off limits) and most likely will never be wished on again and see what happens. Perhaps our dreams are not coming true because we have been wishing on the wrong stars.

And that's a quote you can take to the bank.

I am writing from the lobby of the Fairfield Inn in Frederick MD. There is a lovely Christmas tree to my right and my two sisters are peeking over my shoulder. I am doing this to prove that I do have friends and that they enjoy what I have to say. So I have a funny joke, A Rabbi goes to the ocean and...(psst. all of you who are not my sisters respond to this blog so it looks like I do have friends so they will stop laughing at me.) ... THAT"S NOT A DOLPHIN, THAT'S MY WIFE!!

Happy Christmas And A Blessed New Year.

Ha Ha, I'm back. Well probably not but I can't sleep and have nothing better to do now. So I'll give you guys something worthwhile to read. Eh maybe not. Hopefully I have a good dream tonight and I can tell you all about it tomorrow. But there's a 98% chance that that is not going to happen so you read this whole thing for nothing.

Well, school has started and I already have too much reading to do. Amazing how quickly it all starts back in motion. Revelation class started with a big picture of Kirk Cameron so I'll take that as a good omen for the rest of the semester. My bill came in the mail today. So I guess I don't get to go to school for free this year. Oh well, maybe next semester.
